The Northern Colorado Chapter of the Association for Supply Chain Management has hired Scott Soldat-Valenzuela to serve as part-time Executive Director.
"Hiring an Executive Director is a critical element in our plan to craft a sustainable organization, able to provide online and in-person networking and educational opportunities for supply chain management professionals" remarked Mike Loughrin, ASCM Northern Colorado board member.
Scott has served several non-profit civic and charity organizations during his 20 year career in the non-profit space including the Peoria, Arizona Chamber of Commerce, Fountain Hills, Arizona Chamber of Commerce and SkillsUSA Arizona–a career/tech Assocation.
He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Management. His experience includes numerous types of networking events, large public events with thousands of attendees, leads groups, corporate sponsorships and awards programs. Most importantly, he’s committed to advancing the vision of the Northern Colorado Chapter of ASCM.
During the next couple of months, the ASCM NoCo will be relaunching training seminars, certifications and networking events. These will include online programming as-well-as in person company tours in the supply chain industry. Additionally, a newsletter will begin in May to provide updates, information and registration opportunities for members. ASCM NoCo is the Northern Colorado Chapter of ASCM (formerly APICS).
